About this Restaurant:  While Shanghai may pride itself in the fact that it offers a wide culinary choice for dining enthusiasts, there was a certain niche which had always been lacking; until now. Belgium, which has brought the dining world such essentials as beer, mussels and fries, now has an adequate representative in the Shanghai restaurant world. Recently opened and situated a couple blocks south of trendy Xing Tien Di, Chambar offers Belgian food at a mid-range price. With an extensive beer menu and serving some classic Belgian dishes, along with three dining floors and a fourth floor reserved for post-meal relaxation and including a pool table, a TV and a stocked humidor, Chambar aims to introduce Belgian cuisine, and lifestyle, to the Shanghai market.
